Yoga was trying this morning. It was a pretty active class, and it was pretty small. I’m really just getting back to the active classes (in defiance of my chest), and I felt alot of pressure to look like I wasn’t struggling this morning. But it is hard to hide your legs shaking all through warrior pose sections. I got almost all the way through the last section before the floor poses,...
Day only getting worse: someone rifled through our car last night. No theft or damage, but it probably means that Phil forgot to lock the door last night. Ugh can I just be at yoga already?

I am already tired today, and it is only 10:44. I just found out I’ll be working 170 hours in March. That’s full time work every week, plus full time school every week, plus homework, plus end of term projects which only 1 of 5 has been assigned already.
This is not the way to end your university career. Expect many stress tears in March. I wonder how many other people actually do it...

First class back after reading week..
..is cancelled! What a treat. Plus I was still in bed when I was checking my emails and it was sitting so perfectly as the most recently delivered.

Yoga for Athletes last night WAS AWESOME!
It happened that it was all ladies in the house, and it ended up being a really fun, empowering class - mainly because we were all laughing and then I learned how to get into crow pose and held it!
It was a heavy core class, so I expected to be sore this morning. Not as bad as I thought it would be, but I am sure I’ll be hurting tomorrow in the...

I will have all the lululemon things!
Reading Luluaddict and Lulumum really don’t help. I pretty much hated all their fall-winter things save one long sleeve top that I got just before my chest started going haywire, and now we are into their spring collection and I’m loving it.
7 more months. And extreme savings mode until then because I have to fund a Switzerland trip in between...
White on Rice: A love poem for dishes →
yellowonesdontstop:
Our dishwasher is broken so I was doing the dishes tonight when it occurred to me exactly how much I love our plates, with their rudimentary, yet still somehow elegant pattern—just a thin blue line around the porcelain white circumference—and a Crate and Barrel logo stamped on their backs.

My answer to the childhood question, “If you were stranded on an island, name three things…” had always been: Unlimited supply of chocolate ice cream, a giant freezer and a spoon. I still had my manners. But if you asked me now, I would ditch the spoon and be torn between almond toffee and hand-rolled cones with chocolate-filled tips. Unlimited supply of each, of course.

Unlimited Yoga!
For the next two months!
Although some of the classes I would like to go to conflict with my schedule, the plan is to go to most of the classes that I think will work. That means Monday night Yin class (ah yes my fave), Tuesday morning Rise and Shine class, Thursday night Yoga for Athletes, and Friday morning Rise and Shine class (this one might be tight for time). I would love to try to try to...

Ffcking old people. Phil was asked by the head of his bike club, about 70 years of age, if he could pick him up from his flight tonight in Victoria, about an hour and a half away. Yes no problem. Phil got there on time, flight was on time, waited around looking for Peter for 45 minutes. Called his wife. Apparently he missed his flight this morning. Apparently she emailed. EMAILED. WTF lady. For...
Worst day yet of sickness. Ugh. Thankfully I can get away with going home early today.
